Taxacom: new perspectives paper on the status of taxonomy

Today a Perspective paper was published that I coauthored with my European friends and colleagues Ivan Löbl (Geneva), Bernhard Klausnitzer (Dresden), and Matthias Hartmann (Erfurt) on the current situation of biodiversity science/taxonomy. You probably won't mind that it is a bit entomology biased, but we tried to include other perspectives, too. A lot of this has been said over and over, but I think we make good points, and it apparently needs to be said over and over again and again.
