Are the people who are annoyed by gender nomenclatural rules mostly those
with English as a first language? Just curious, as many other languages
have gender rules, not only the Romantic languages that are based in Latin.
Thai even has gender specific punctuation. So I would expect that
taxonomists who speak other languages would be accustomed to such rules.
