[Taxacom] Tricladia homonomy?

Hi John and Mike,

Thanks for this and related e-mails. Speaking personally I was completely unaware hat there was a homonym here. It certainly looks as though the lep name has priority. Luckily the Turks who are mad on checking for homonyms and proposing idiotic replacement names did not turn up these homonyms when they published their papers several years ago. In my view I do not think a replacement name is necessary because there is a very good chance that Tricladia Mercet, 1918 is a synonym of Paracopidosoma Hoffer. Unfortunately I currently do not have access to the specimens or literature to check this up because I am not allowed into the NHM. I can check this when I get a chance.

Thanks Mike. Yes, I saw those listings. I found a Gary Gibson with a
chalcid page on the Canadian National Collection site and sent an inquiry,
but received notification that he is out of the office due to COVID-19 and
only in intermittent contact, but could be reached at his private email
address - but did not give that. If anyone knows that would help.
