[Taxacom] Paywall our taxonomic tidbit

Hmm, that is quite an arrogant opinion of the public intelligence and interest. Publicly funded research covers an enormous range of topics of which taxonomy is a very small part. Even though perhaps only a very small part of the general public do read taxonomic papers then this still means that they should also get their fair share.

They don't understand the stuff, and they have no say in what exactly gets funded by their money (grant boards make those decisions). Effectively, under open access they are paying twice for the same research. Think about it ..
