[Taxacom] Identification key software

Hi Fabio,
If I had to write an interactive key today...I would use Lucid or Excel as
my manager (easy to check both positive and negative dependency issues
with Lucid), then save/export and convert the CSV to JSON for incorporation
into the web framework of choice. Add linked images across the taxa in
the cloud and add a script or two. Now it is visual, translatable, and
interactive - requires additional wizardry granted. But will work on
anything without a runtime (no JVM or Silverlight required).
Fourth-generation example is here http://www.herbarium2.lsu.edu/grass2/.
Still need to concatenate the JS files to make it faster. And this version
uses CXML, which is slow. We are getting there... Soon.
Best,
Tim
