[Taxacom] excessive quoting (was Re: Explicit vs implied linking)

Stephen (and others), could you *please* trim off excess text?  When
you're replying to a reply of a reply, for every one original
paragraph and relevant quoted one, there are five pages of
unnecessary cascaded messages appended to the bottom.  For those of
us on the digest especially it makes Taxacom very difficult to read.
