Are you 100% sure it doesn't record it?  Because I know that on my
unit, using the Garmin software or some others to download points
doesn't get all the information that the unit records.  Try using
G7toWin (http://www.gpsinformation.org/ronh/g7towin.htm) to download
and see if it comes through.  It's useful anyway because it can save
in many formats, including kml.
