[Taxacom] Origin of the name "Hogna", a genus of wolf spiders

Hmm.  I doubt, mainly because it was Eugene Simon who gave us the name
back in the 1880s.

Maybe from "hogchnè" (oγχνη) pear? I must admit I have collected
them regularly and they did not strike me as overly pear-shaped, but
who knows.
