Greetings all, 

Over the holiday here I got some time and, as promised, added a "Best" character choice optimization algorithm to SLIKS. I picked the most informative and least "black-box" one (a simple report of the number of remaining taxa with the state after the state's description in the key). Thus, if you have 100 each of useful characters and taxa left and your plant has blue flowers and pointed sepals, you know that  if you pick "Sepals: pointed [50]" you'll split the field, but if you pick "Flowers: blue [1]" you'll go right to the answer.  The US Wetland Monocot key has been updated with it as well (http://npdc.usda.gov/technical/plantid_wetland_mono.html).
