Linne or Linnaeous?

To be candid, I don't read either French or German.  I can read Spanish (with
a dictionary at hand) and, by extension, can sometimes get through classical
scientific texts in French.  But, when it comes to reading taxacom
communications, I (because of time constraints) ignore non-English
communications.  I assume if the writer wanted me to know something
important, the writer would communicate the idea in a format that all readers
of the list could follow.
