[Pols-l] reallocation of effort

?Colleagues, given that COVID-19 has dramatically changed our teaching and research abilities, if you would prefer to reallocate your effort for this semester please let me know.


For example, most of us are currently at 40% research, 40% teaching, and 20% service. A professor that needs to put more effort into teaching to get courses online could suggest a new allocation of 20 R, 60 T, and 20 S.


What does this do? It would mean that your teaching evaluation would be weighted more heavily in your annual evaluation relative to research and service.


It is an option that is available, so let me know if you are interested.
