Hello Dr. Haider-Markel,

I am the Emergency Management Specialist at KU. I am reaching out to you because the KU Public Safety Office is hosting a lunch and learn lecture series.  Our upcoming lecture features Dr. Ward Lyles. He will discuss his research about mitigating natural disasters on Thursday, March 29th from 12:30PM-1:30PM in the Media Crossroads Room, 4th level of the Union. I have attached a flyer about the event. I think this lecture would be of interest to students, staff and faculty in the Political Science Department and I was hoping that you would please pass the information along to others? All are welcome, KU affiliates and also community members.

(We are promoting the lecture in several ways, but sometimes information is more compelling when it comes from those you know.)
