The Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence (ICCAE) at KU is a growing program offering a minor and a certificate in Intelligence & National Security Studies. Students in the program have the opportunity to attend intelligence-based extracurricular activities, receive study abroad scholarships, and to become an ICCAE Scholar. In addition, the program offers professional development and assistance with job placement. "Is There Really a Dictator's Dilemma?  Information and Repression in Autocracy"  American Journal  of Political Science  The "dictator's dilemma highlights how repression increases undertainty for authoritarian rules.  The paper investigates when this dilemma actually holds and what dictators can do to ease it.
