Subject: Engineering EXPO Information

Hello,

My name is Dee, and I am the Public Relations Chair for this year’s KU Engineering EXPO. The Engineering EXPO is a free outreach event hosted by the School of Engineering happening this weekend. It’s a great event for people to take their children and families to. Would it be possible to have the information below sent out to the students, staff, and faculty in your school/department? I’d appreciate your help spreading the word! Feel free to forward this to anyone else who might be interested as well.

Thank you!

Dear students, staff, and faculty,

You and your families are invited to attend the KU School of Engineering’s Engineering EXPO this Sunday, February 23rd, from 12—3pm!

Held at KU’s engineering complex on the northwest corner of 15th and Naismith, this free event is open to the community and gives kids in grades K-8 a hands-on opportunity to explore the wonders of engineering!

EXPO’s theme this year is Engineering Enchantment: Where Imagination Meets Innovation. There will be dozens of fantasy-themed engineering activities and demonstrations to explore.

More information can be found on our website<https://engrconnector.ku.edu/esc/expo/>.

If you plan to attend, please register here<https://engrconnector.ku.edu/ESC/rsvp_boot?id=376116>. This is not required, but helps for planning purposes.

If you know of anyone who might be interested in attending EXPO, please feel free to forward them this information as well.

Please reach out to the EXPO team at engrexpo at ku.edu<mailto:engrexpo at ku.edu> if you have any questions. We would be delighted to have you join us this weekend!

Warmly,

The EXPO Team
