yes of course Art. 12.2.6 is reciprocal. However this is entirely
meaningless for the availability of the genus since the genus would
equally be made available under Art. 12.1 or 12.2.5, depending on the
situation. Art. 12.2.6 applies also to the genus, but is meaningless. Of
course Art. 12.2.6 does apply to a genus, but this should not lead to
the importance of Art. 12.2.5 being overlooked.
I see we agree entirely in all points. I agree with you also in the last
issue: for that lastly mentioned case the name should be cited as Aous
bus (Smith, 1950) with parentheses.
