Taxacom: counts of generic names used for a species

In vascular plants, I know of North American examples where a species has been placed in 9 or 10 genera.

Has anyone ever compiled records of the maximum numbers of genera in the synonymy of a species?

fred (inspired by iNaturalist rattling off the genera to which a photographed moth has been assigned)
