For any lepidotperists or others interested, following article available on
ResearchGate: " In Memoriam— Moth Man: The Life and Legacy of John Edward
Rawlins (1950-2021) Emeritus Curator of Insects at the Carnegie Museum of
Natural History February 2024Annals of Carnegie Museum 88(4):235-263.

Provides a detailed account on the life of John Rawlins - one-time
scientific advisor for 'Silence of the Lambs'. One of the interesting
(among many) snippets I learned, a visit by mick Jagger:

"Jagger likes to visit museums when he travels as he has a special
interest in natural history and supports a number of conservation
causes...John and I spent a pleasant hour or so with him in the beetles and
Lepidoptera. Oddly enough, Jagger was one of the most knowledgeable,
engaged, and quick on the uptake of all the many non-scientists we’ve dealt
with."
