I should also maybe point out that you can see if an article has a DOI by
visiting https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsearch.crossref.org%2F&data=05%7C01%7Ctaxacom%40lists.ku.edu%7Cc98ef91c96f84d6821f908dbad990785%7C3c176536afe643f5b96636feabbe3c1a%7C0%7C0%7C638294644999030358%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=ZQbEOJv2C5Qlt6oWUuOAq42x9isXmECaiVKSNo8Tf64%3D&reserved=0 and pasting in the author name,
title, and any other associated info that you have e.g. journal, volume and
pages... the Crossref algorithm does quite a lot of fuzzy matching t
produce candidate matches, with the best one at the top... Or in many
instances of course, if you can get to the abstract or title page for the
article, the DOI will be shown there - or sometimes in the page address
anyway (all DOIs start with " 10." which is a useful clue).

Regards - Tony
