By the way, I only have access to Doweld's 2001 work "Prosyllabus
Tracheophytorum: Tentamen Systematis Plantarum ..." via Google books
snippet view, e.g.

I was wondering whether there are any footnotes or similar on the relevant
page (page I) that would explain his choice of terminology in this
instance. If anyone has access to the full page(s) of interest, maybe they
could check further, and/or supply me with a scan of the page/s where
Langiophytopsida (etc.) are dealt with?
Thanks in advance - Tony
