Taxacom: Excluded names and availability

Hi All,
I see that among excluded names are names proposed after 1930 based on the "work of extant animals". I assume such "work" might include foot prints, hair, scat, or other traces left by the animal. Would that include body parts such as isolated teeth?
Anyway, I would be interested to know of some examples of excluded names proposed before 1930 that are based on such "work" of animals.
                          --------------Ken Kinman

It depends on why it is excluded.

 From the Glossary:

A few under the former are unavailable names, but most are nothing. The
latter category is unpublished, and therefore also neither available nor
unavailable.
