[Taxacom] Correcting higher taxon terminations in botany ( a question of stems)

Dear all, thanks for your feedback on my original question. Accordingly, I
have entered the "corrected" versions into my IRMNG database as opposed to
the versions as originally published, deemed incorrectly formed at family
level and by extension, at higher ranks. These corrected versions will then
be supplied into the Catalogue of Life data system in due course, since COL
is currently sourcing many/most algal genus names from IRMNG at this time,
in the absence of available alternative compendia.

I have added a note regarding the basis for the decision made to relevant
records, such as this one for the family Prasinodermataceae:
