[Taxacom] Iapyx vs. Japyx (etc.) in Diplura

Hi Stephen, I thought the same initially, however Haliday's original
description is available via BHL at
https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/27559041, where he seems to me to
have constructed "Iapix" correctly (no obvious orthographic substitution of
"I" for "J") and also states that the name comes from "the poetical name
for Calabrian [people]", the forerunners of whom are apparently still known
as Iapygians, from the former region Iapycia (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iapygians), originally named from Greek
mythology after Daedalus' son Iapyx... so the original spelling seems sound
to me, but as Francisco said, a misspelling (originally proposed by Meinert
as an unjustified emendation) appears to have taken its place in general
usage.
All interesting background...
Regards - Tony
