[Taxacom] Remark or Remarks

Dear members,

As a foreigner, I am confused with the word Remark in a taxonomy paper. As
you know, when each species is described in a paper, we usually put
comments at the end under Remark/Remarks. I see sometimes Remark, other
times Remarks. I sometimes see Remark(s). Someone also told me that if
there is only one kind of comment or just one sentence, then it is Remark,
otherwise Remarks is used. Which do you think is right?
