Dear Nadia:
There is a brief list of the previous editions of the ICNCP on page xix
of the eighth edition. I will send a bibliographically fuller list to
you directly as I believe that Taxacom does not handle attachments
In an e-mail on Wed 09/12/2015 from John David, one of the main editors
of the forthcoming ninth edition of the ICNCP he wrote: "As you will
also be aware the ICNCP is horrendously behind, although I am confident
that this will finally go to print in January". I do not know whether or
not it did, but it looks as though the ninth edition will be published
soon.
Besr wishes, John

Dear colleagues,
People working on wikipedia’s coverage of basic taxonomic nomenclature
terminology have got into a tangle with the horticultural terms, and I
wonder if anyone here can advise. No-one contributing there so far has
the necessary understanding of how the nomenclature sessions of the
International Horticultural Congress are conducted. Answers to the
following would be very helpful, if available:
Is a new ICNCP to be expected soon, or did IHC2014 decide not to change
the code?
If nomenclature decisions were made, is there a publication that can be
referred to while we await the new edition (perhaps the pre-congress
2013 volume 7 of Hanburyana, which lists proposals)?
Nadia
