[Taxacom] the zoological code and online publications

I tend to agree with Vlad that the ICZN Code (not just e-only publication) is far too complicated. I tried to get a note published on this topic (ironically in a Pensoft journal), but after two rejections I really can't be bothered trying for a third time. Magnolia Press solve the e-only problem by simply preregistering every article that they publish, whether it contains nomenclatural acts or not. Then they don't have to detect nomenclatural acts in the manuscripts.

Neal,if I missed something I apologise. I just know that Pensoft and Lyubo personally was always on the top of things. If there are any errors this is a result of absence of Zoobank API. Registration rules for e-only publications are by far too complicated. The registration must happen automatically at publication, then, there will be no problems.

Cheers,

Vlad
