"It seems" indicates that Raymond really does not know with respect to his
assertion. In the absence of not knowing to make the expression of such
assertions very questionable ethics - certainly distasteful. And if the
imputation is incorrect it would seem to be libelous or defamatory to
Wuster. Either way, all Raymond is managing to do is to give me the
impression that Raymond is quite a nasty nice person.
