[Taxacom] S-DIVA

Can anyone here help me with a question I have about the the 'ancestral
area' program S-DIVA? What I'd like to know is this. If you have five
clades with distributions in areas A+B, A+C, A+D, A+E and A+F,
respectively, willl the program always find a centre of origin in A? From
looking at particular case studies I think it does, but I'm not sure.
