Dear friends and colleagues, it's with great sadness that I inform you that
our esteemed colleague and friend William Anderson passed away this
morning in Ann Arbor as a result of an untreatable cancer. Bill was
accompanied to the end by his wife Christiane and daughter Rebecca. We
