Dick,

Brassolaeliocattleya was not a very good choice of genus to use as an
example, as it is an artificial hybrid genus resulting from hybridization
between species in the genera Brassavola, Laelia and Cattleya. It would be
very hypothetical to describe a new species in this particular genus.

Having made that small point I do agree with you, and am surprised to hear
that names have been suppressed purely because they are not easy to
pronounce/remember. Somehow I think this would not happen under the current
Code.

Adam Cotton.

PS. Wasn't it supercalifragilisticexpialidocious? If so your name must be an
incorrect subsequent spelling ;-)
