[Taxacom] An objective observation for Taxacom members

When you see something that you think is "unprofessional" or "offensive"
you should comment to the list with specific reference to the offender
and see if others on the list agree with your assessment and if so to
what extent.

Hello,

I am a new to Taxacom and I must admit I am a bit shocked at the level
of dialog I have been observing. Is there no moderator here to screen
out unprofessional or even offensive submissions? I am a member of
several other professional listservs in the field of biology/ecology and
I haven't seen the frequency of inappropriate banter I have witnessed
here. 

Just wondering.
