Considering the reliance of the tree of life on molecular similarity one
might wonder. If I may bring up again that persistent gadfly of a
problem with the classification of humans - whether with chimpanzees
(according to the tree of life) or the orangutan (according to
morphogenetics). There is a profound incongruence that is swept under
the carpet in the tree of (molecular) life.
