[Taxacom] Oh Canada!

Does anyone know why Canada has provided so little vascular plant 
data to GBIF? Maybe this applies to other groups, but plants are 
mostly what I find myself searching for. Just as an example, this map 
http://tinyurl.com/333zglu makes it look as if the whole order 
Asterales virtually drops out at the 49th parallel, which I somehow 
don't think is the case .
