A reminder that abstracts need to be submitted by 31 October 2010 for oral presentations at the International Botanical Congress in Melbourne in July 2011.

Anyone wishing to present a poster (whether hardcopy or ePoster) has a later deadline: 1 February 2011. (This is also the deadline for registration for the IBC at the lowest registration fee level.)

During November and early December, the Scientific Program Committee and symposium organisers will assess offered abstracts using standard criteria. Decisions will be finalised in December 2010. If your submission for an oral presentation is unsuccessful you will be asked whether you wish to present a poster instead.

See the latest e-zine http://www.ibc2011.com/News.htm or the main web pages at http://www.ibc2011.com for more details.

Please note that there is also a deadline for registration and payment by presenters: ALL ACCEPTED PRESENTERS must register by 1 March 2011.

Regards
Karen Wilson
