And highly nuanced, as sarcasm must often be. I've been interested over 
the last few months at the interpretations given to your posts by other

Perhaps this is a result of none of the rest of us being primary 
Anglophones, or perhaps it is because none of the rest of us apply the 
formulation that you so succinctly describe above. Nevertheless,  on the 
face of the evidence, perhaps you could cut us some slack, and admit 
that the inability of the average taxonomist (if Taxacom can be taken as 
a representative sample) to effectively read words and attribute 
meanings is a strong inducement to codes of nomenclature that are 
over-precise in their definitions.
