Hi Folks,

Can someone with a better classical education than I possess suggest
the best Latin grammar for a name to be given to a "species" of
cellular slime mold. The genus is Dictyostelium. We wish to make
reference to a geographic connection with the specific epithet
"borealis", but it has been pointed out that the better grammar would
be the term "boreale".

Anyone care to wade in on the issue?

Perhaps responding directly to me would avoid clutter on the list.

Thanks in advance.

John
