[Taxacom] Phylum Telonemia???

Dear All,
       Shalchian-Tabrizi et al., 2006, apparently named a new Phylum
Telonemia for the problematic protist genus Telonema.  Given that this
genus is almost certainly a "chromist" (either a member of Phylum
Heterokonta or Phylum Cryptophyta), the creation of anything higher than
a new class for Telonema seems totally unwarranted.  That it is most
likely a member of Class Ochrophyta in Phylum Heterokonta, perhaps it is
best regarded as a monotypic Order Telonemales containing one Family
Telonemidae.  Raising it to Phylum level seems to be an unhelpful (and
extreme) exaggeration.
