[Taxacom] EDIT Women in Science Fellowships 2009

Dear Taxacomers,

For the second year, EDIT's Gender Action Plan (GAP) is offering the 
Women in Science Fellowships.

Please find attached the announcement for the 2009 call. Feel free to 
circulate it in your institutions! The announcement includes a reminder 
of the Work-Life Balance Travel Grants, an open call programme directed 
to help scientists with young children to cover the cost of childcare 
when travelling to meetings and conferences. More information on both 
programmes is available at http://www.e-taxonomy.eu/node/10 .

EDIT (the European Distributed Institute of Taxonomy) is a Network of 
Excellence gathering 28 major institutions or networks to help and 
improve taxonomic work (http://www.e-taxonomy.eu).

The deadline for applications is the 13th of March 2009.
