[Taxacom] taxonomy article in the NYTimes

What about the "second" version of Genesis, which comes a little later and has a different sequence? Does the first has priority?

Much comfort for the self and damnation of one's enemies can be found in the Bible (ignoring the personally damning parts, of course). For instance:

Lord watch over us.
Save us from the present generation for ever.
The wicked prowl on every side.
That which is worthless is esteemed by everyone.
(Psalm 12)

If your Bible is different in this, "they" have rewritten it.

Well, farming and taxonomy were not done for money at this point so they
could not be classified as professional.

D'OH!

Umm...well, since this was all on the same day, however, Adam
actually *did* the naming stuff before he would have had a chance to
*do* any gardening. So, Adam didn't necessarily do the tasks in the
order that they were assigned.

Besides, it doesn't say anything about God supplying any tools, so
what kind of gardening could Adam have done just then, anyway? ;-)

Peace,
