[Taxacom] ICZN - list of cases open for comment

The International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN), acting in
the capacity of adviser and arbiter, assists the zoological community
through generation and dissemination of information on the correct use of
the scientific names of animals.

This includes the publication of the Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature
containing applications to ( http://www.iczn.org/Cases.htm ), and rulings by
( http://www.iczn.org/Opinions.htm ), the Commission. We welcome input from
the scientific community on published applications in the form of Comments (
http://www.iczn.org/Comments_on_Cases.htm ); Comments sent to the ICZN
Secretariat are considered by the Commissioners in their deliberations.

To help readers keep track of Cases currently open for input, we have
developed a list of open Cases, now available here:
http://www.iczn.org/List_of_open_cases.html .  We will update this monthly.

We look forward to your contributions to this core process in achieving
sense and stability for animal names.
