Scientific Assistant to the Director of Science
Salary Range: £22,032 to £28,540 (Pay Band D)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and skilled candidates for the post of Scientific Assistant to the Director of Science.

You will support the Director of Science by fulfilling the roles of research assistant and personal assistant.  In undertaking the role of research assistant you will carry out research which may involve project development, reviewing literature, laboratory work, assisting in data collections, preparing presentations and editing manuscripts.  You will also have the skills and interest to work on science policy and support project management.  In your role as PA, you will handle correspondence, arrange meetings and take minutes, collate reports, organise travel arrangements, support budget management, and edit the Science Division web pages.

You will have a postgraduate qualification in Biological Sciences relevant to RBGE science.  The ability to undertake research is essential, as is minute taking, typing and proof reading.
