[Taxacom] Max Planck Society cancels 1,200 Springer journals

I guess the question is, what will the response of the journals be?  I'm
sure most of the researchers would be happy to deposit a copy in a public
database, but most of the journals I've dealt with expressly forbid that. 
Are the journals now going to charge more for NIH-funded papers?
