The registration for the Seventh Flora Malesiana Symposium is now open
(17-22 June, Leiden, The Netherlands).

 

This is the three-yearly symposium for all flora related research in the
Malay Archipelago. The very interesting scientific programme includes
Systematics of Phanerogams (Ruth Kiew), Systematics of Cryptogams
(Benito Tan), Biogeography (Chuck Cannon), New Guinea flora and
vegetation (Osiah Gideon), Palaeobotany and geology (Han van
Konijnenburg), Nature Conservation, Ecology, biodiversity and vegetation
research (Rob Gradstein), Economic- and Ethnobotany (David Mabberley),
Anatomy, morphology and palynology (Erik Smets), Bioinformatics (Luc
