A new unpaid TREEFINDER version is online at www.treefinder.de .
New features are:
- parametric bootstrapping from a dialog
- simulation of partitioned sequences
- sequence simulation along reports
- mtArt protein model
- various other improvements
Testing of phylogenetic hypotheses and substitution models is very easy
now. One can examine the stochastic variation of all parameters under a
particular null model and compute all kinds of statistics.
I still have no position in Munich.
I am still unemployed, partly because a handful of rich people in this
country prefer to pay low taxes and drive fat cars instead of admitting
secure and useful employment for all. They are the same rich people who
prevent a sustainable economy and peace in the world.
In this country,
10% of the citzens own 1/2 of all wealth,
20% of the citzens own 2/3 of all wealth.
What does this mean?
90% of the citizens could have 2 times more than they have now, if
10% of the citizens were expropriated.
80% of the citizens could have 3 times more than they have now, if
20% of the citizens were expropriated.
And the rich don't work for their income.
The rich buy houses and let the poor pay rent.
The rich buy companies and pay the poor low wages.
Ok, some of the rich 20% do work for their income.
They are managers, brokers, lobbyists, lawyers, architects.
They are important for the rich and get overpaid.
At the cost of the poor.
Given that someone's consumption is proportional to one's wealth -
the rich 20% of us consume 2/3 of our economic production, whereas
the poor 80% of us get only 1/3 but do all the work.
Even worse, only some of the 80% have work.
Capital decides who of us is needed and who not.
The free market is undemocratic,
because 2/3 of the buys come from the rich
and serving the rest does not pay.
2/3 of our economic production is unavailable for most of us.
2/3 of all products and services are for the rich.
2/3 of all time people spend at work.
2/3 of all energy we burn.
2/3 of all traffic.
As a consequence,
the rich pay most of the taxes - or escape from that
by donating to political parties and pressure groups
and by sponsoring private universities and research
that is solely in their own interest - and expect
our thankfulness.
On the other hand,
they deny us employment
and the fruits of our labour
and even our future. They make us
want more and more of what nobody needs
and make us work for that so that they can earn
and buy fat cars and fat houses and feel superior to us.
They force us to work what they want and not what we want and
make us move from place to place all the time, just to maximize their
profits.
We scientists are treated badly
to make us want a job in the industry,
where we are more profitable for the rich.
We are trained to be the small gear in a big
machine that produces nothing in particular, that
is just functioning as expected, just doing a job for
money.
The rich consume so much only because they don't need to work for it.
I don't want to work for their 2/3!!!
We cannot afford the rich.
Limit social inequality!
Limit private property!
Limit economic growth!
