[Taxacom] Fiji Arthropods checklists online

As part of the NSF-Fiji Terrestrial Arthropod Survey, preliminary 
checklists of the terrestrial arthropods of Fiji are now available 
online at:

These checklists represent a search of all names that are in the 
published literature as well as known identified records in 
collections. The basic list derives from an index card file of 
terrestrial arthropod records from all the Pacific Islands kept by 
the late Edwin Bryan here at Bishop Museum. These card files were 
updated rigorously until the 1940s, sporadically thereafter. 
Additional records were entered onto the checklists via a search of 
Zoological record and available literature subsequent to 1940.

We encourage readers to notify us of any corrections, updates, 
deletions, etc. as we are continually updating these lists and will 
be publishing the next edition of a full checklist with associated 
bibliography in the near future. For any correction or update that is 
sent, we would appreciate receiving associated literature citations.
