Naming a species after yourself (zoology)

If I wanted to name a species after someone, and I also thought that  
they contributed enough to the work, then I think what I would do  
would be write the paper with all three authors, but designate as the  
authority for the new species only the two not being honoured - for  
example:

Bloggs J, Doe J, Simpson H 2006. A new species of Springfieldia  
(Homeraceae).

Taxonomy
Springfieldia simpsonii Bloggs et Doe, sp. nov.

I reckon that would skirt around the ethical problems to some degree.
