Naming a species after yourself (zoology)

Hi,

As far as I see, there is no article within the ICZN which prohibits the
naming of a species after one of the authors of the publication in which the
species is first described. The rules for naming Species are mentioned in
Art. 25 ff.!
It seems to be more an ethical problem. It should be a matter of course that
such a naming shouldn't be done by the authors.

With best regrads, Volker
