Registration Revisited

For those who have an interest/passion/infuriation with the idea of
registering taxonomic names, I draw your attention to the following article,
hot off the press:

Thorne, Joan. 2003. Zoological Record and registration of new names in
zoology.  Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature 60(1):7-11.

HIGHLY relevant to recent discussions on these lists. Indeed, previous
discussions on TAXACOM are mentioned in the introduction.

My sincerest apologies for the cross-posting to multiple lists -- but this
has potentially broad and important implications, and I believe that in
order to keep things moving forward, we must continue to foster active
discussion within the relevant communities.
