INSECTS and Plants

my dear colleagues,
Please be so kind and help me to create new pages on my website
www.coleoptera.org dedicated to interaction between plants and beetles.

I am just reading gardeners handbooks ( I try to start my own garden) and
there is always some small chapter Butterflies and Bees attracting
bush/flowers but nothing for beetles.
I would like to know if there is plants attracting beetles.
Is there any difference between plants attracting bees, Lepidoptera and
coleoptera?

I would like to have entry on my website for different countries/zones
For example:
Europe   -   Crataegus oxyacantha Linaeus - bush (flowers)
(I remember when I have been young and collected beetles accompanied with my
friend Zdenek Svec, we always catch good and interesting beetles on the
Crataegus..)
