distribution software: DIVA

I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned the distribution-mapping program
DIVA.  It can be downloaded at the following
site:  http://www.cipotato.org/diva/

I have found it to be very user-friendly (much more so than arcview), and
it is *free*!
