>         The University of New England is offering 15 new scholarships for
> students wishing to commence PhD or research Masters study in 2003. The
> UNE Research Assistantships (UNERA) provide a minimum $15,000 pa. stipend
> (3 years for PhD; 2 years for research Masters; with the possibility of
> extension) and assistance with relocation, establishment and dependents
> allowances, and thesis expenses. The stipends of some scholarships may,
> depending on discipline studied, be offered at rates equal to APA ie.
> $18009 pa in 2003.

>         Applications close on Monday 10th February, 2003.  Students
> offered a scholarship would be expected to commence study at UNE by 31
> May, 2003.
>These scholarships provide a new opportunity for:
